In China, among the Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor of China, Qin Shihuangdi (d. 221 BC), near Xi’An, The underground army of warriors, officials and entertainers that Qin created to accompany him into the afterlife was discovered by peasants of XiYang village, LingTong County on 29 March 1974.
