HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE NEW RUSSIAN COLLECTION AT LEBRECHT – AVANT-GARDE ART

Lebrecht represents a unique collection of over 10,000 paintings from Russian museums and galleries (RAO). Included amongst this vast collection are many examples of Russian avant-garde artwork dating from the early 20th century and covering schools of art such as Cubo-Futurist, Suprematist, Constructivist, Abstract, Neo-Primitivist. Amongst the artists included are the founder of constructivism, Rodchenko and his wife Stepanova, and Kandinsky, an extremely important figure in the history of abstract art. Other artists represented include Olga Rosanova, Malevich, Nathan Altman, Annenkov, Redko, Puni, Pestel.
