Lebrecht classic music images have been used in a French DVD promotion campaign which included posters in the Paris metro stations and shop fronts. We were excited to see the work of our top photographers displayed across the French capital.
Meanwhile, in London our images have been used to promote major upcoming musical events: the Bernstein season at the South Bank Centre and the annual BBC Proms Guide. The guide helps lovers of music to decide which concerts they will fill their summer evenings with.
Recent covers supplied by Lebrecht have used images from our new site – www.authorpictures.co.uk . Peter the Great of Russia looked stunning on the front cover of the popular monthly magazine, History Today. A telling look between Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir was used for a book cover exploring their relationship and existentialism in Paris. Wolf Suschitzky’s atmospheric view of London taken in the 1930s was chosen for the new Penguin Modern Classics edition of Norman Collins’ novel, London Belongs to Me.
